marilyn manson: mechanical animals
Marilyn Manson's 14th September due album, Mechanical Animals, sounds
like something straight out of the box. Recently departed guitarist, Zim
Zum says "It's nothing like the last record. It's far beyond it. It's more
mature, but in an extremely kid-in-a-candy-store way. Anyone who thought
Marilyn Manson, the band, as shock or schtick, the shock this time around
it is that people who though there wasn't any talent in the band will have
to eat their words. It's more accessible lyrically...a little bit more
human. It's still rock; the heavy is as heavy as it's ever been. I think
people are ready for this and they definitely need it."
The album has at least one track of the forteen with some real touchy
feel stuff. Porn stars, Kobe Tai and Dyanna Lauren do a brand new take
on the term 'backup'. Some of the expected song titles on the album are
Dope Show, Disassociative and I Don't Like Drugs But Drugs
Like Me.
The new single, Dope Show, will be instore on September 7th.
