Newsgroups: alt.religion.scientology From: fun@tertius.net.au (David Gerard) Subject: Australia: harassment over NOTs postings Message-ID: Sender: news@matilda.vut.edu.au Organization: Victoria University of Technology X-Newsreader: telnet port 119 and get it right the FIRST time Date: Thu, 10 Apr 1997 01:32:12 GMT Lines: 45 Mark Hanna of the local OSA has been a busy boy indeed. He's been on the phone screaming at world.net over my posting to a.r.s of the NOTs which are NOT owned by the CoS. They've been getting calls from California and from everyone. Mark eventually called world.net on their 1-900 $2/min tech support line to hassle them. Why world.net? Because they're suburbia.net's provider. The NOTs were not posted through suburbia.net. The local CoS is trying to harass me off the net again by harassing world.net and suburbia.net - I think their real target is the Web page. (And never mind the German mirror ;-) I have appraised world.net and suburbia.net of what's going on and what the bug up the CoS's arse is, and have asked permission to repost the world.net guy's letter to me and suburbia over the matter. I have yet to go through today's postings in control to find more cancels. Mark Hanna correctly identified the postings (in his letter to world.net), so the CoS is *quite* aware of them thank you ;-) I advised world.net that the only thing to do with a bully is to stand up to them, and I am absolutely certain that suburbia.net will tell the CoS to go fuck itself sideways with the complete Red and Green Volumes. More info as it comes. (And remember: the more time they spend handling me, the less time they can spend on anything else. Woo woo!) [Hey, Tony - it may be a good time for another spontaneous Sydney demo. Hit 'em when they're already busy ...] -- "You were built by your DNA for its own ends, and you'll probably fail at achieving them. You have low status, and therefore will spend your days working to enhance the quality of life of winners who have defeated you. There is no god, spaceship or anything else to save you. No-one cares, and there's nothing you can do to change the situation. Here's the poison." (Greg Wadley: Heaven's Gate for realists)
