The following tale is from email. Concerns the Perth org last Sunday
night (13th July). Enjoy.

actually, an insignificant happening you might be amused at Reverend
Doktor... at our fave 80s night last sunday, a drunken friend of mine
wandered into the open door of the Co$ and, being amazed that they left
the door open wen there was a club 3 doors up the street, thought "what
can i steal!?!?"... he was going to steal a pot plant, just so he could
look at it in his house and say "this pot plant is from the Co$!", but he
didnt have time.. he saw someone coming reflected in a door and grabbed
the nearest thing and bolted... "Creed of the Church of Scientology"!!!
framed and everything... with "this belongs to the chapel" written on the
back..
needless to say it now has pride of place hanging on the wall of his
toilet i think... telling all about how theyre not allowed to ruin ppls
sanity or capture or destroy ppls souls.. *grin*

actually... its hanging in his putah room... much more boring..*grin*
its got "CREED" written in big calligraphic letters at the top.. <with
church of scientology there as well amazingly enuff> and allt he rest is
written in smaller calligraphic pseudo-biblical terms..

erm.. the most amusing thing on it was the bit about not being allowed to
capture or destroy souls, and not being allowed to threaten ppls' sanity, as
i said... when reading this for the first time, a friend of mine was going
"oh damn! there go my two fave hobbies!"
*snort* ;)

um.. i cantthink of anything else interesting..;)

I should probably answer in more detail. I don't know the person who
nicked the plaque. I would not have encouraged anyone to do this, and
if someone I knew had I would ask them in quite a serious tone to
return the plaque. (Preferably wrapped in Xemu leaflets.)

I can't find myself getting very upset over the theft of this plaque,
acknowledge it as I might as not having been a nice thing to do.

I posted the story as a real-life example of the contempt the Co$ is
held in out in the real world. Dangerous kooks and 'fair game' (in the
conventional English-language sense); suitable people to steal a
souvenir from. Nasty loonies who *deserve* such a thing. That's what
people think of them.

And imagine the heightened paranoia at Perth org. Someone came into the
building and stole ... what? A "Creed" plaque? Has this ever happened
before?
