And he should limit > his beefs to his own newsgroup! You dare malign the name of KoX!? Let me tell you a few things about KoX. KoX knows netiquette very well. KoX has often been aggrieved by the lack of netiquette in others. KoX has seen more spam than Hormel. While it's true that KoX can be rude or shocking at times, KoX only does this when there's a lesson to be learned or a point to be made within the framework of the rudeness. KoX knows that a flower, like a truth, is never more beautiful than when it stands alone in defiance amidst the stark contrast of surrounding ugliness. KoX has much too teach. KoX stands tall. KoX is upright. KoX is not ashamed. KoX is very powerful! Yet KoX can also be benevolent, kind, and even tender. KoX loves good humor. When KoX sees someone who cannot laugh at him/her self or the human condition, KoX thinks it's one of the saddest things there is. KoX shucks off the old ways, and embraces the cold refreshing wind of change. KoX is an egalitarian at heart, and does not much like arbitrary divisions. But KoX knows their legacy will be with us for a long time, so KoX strives to be patient. KoX is highly intelligent, and knows how to evaluate data. KoX sees through lies, and recognizes hypocrits. KoX is disgusted by lying. KoX is righteous, true and fair. KoX speaks many tonques. KoX loves truth. KoX also loves freedom. KoX knows that there is no single truth for all, and freely cuts slack for honest differences in opinion. KoX knows that being free is, in part, realizing that you can have your own opinion without needing to apologize for it. KoX knows that collectively, we have the power to make life better for ourselves, or to make it worse. KoX knows that better and worse are often subjective, and tries to understand complexities. KoX knows that simplistic answers which promise to solve all problems for all people, are the works of charletans. KoX knows that to be alive is to have some degree of power. KoX does not pretend that all people share power equally, but does not weep excessively for those who fail to exercize their own capabilities whilst drowning in sea of self pity. Yet KoX regrets the lost potential of people who never realize their own power, and also regrets when someone is convinced to give their power over to another, especially when the other has no abiding concern or love for the donor, and subsequently misuses and squanders the gift. KoX is not superstitious. KoX does not claim to be extraordinary in any miraculous way, nor claims supernatural powers. But KoX understands the power of symbolism and myth. KoX is not a devil, although the foolish, the dishonest, the unseeing, and those at odds with KoX have tried to claim this. KoX is prepared to vigorously defend the rights of all, even detractors. KoX knows that violence is not the preferred means to an end, and that force will only persuade for the briefest of periods. KoX much prefers to persuade with rationality, logic, and truth. But KoX will not let this aversion to violence be used as a coercive force by the unethical. KoX sees such provocations for what they are. KoX can instantly spot a bully. Because KoX is a regular on a.r.s, KoX knows a lot about Scientology. KoX is not impressed. KoX does not abide their barratry. KoX is into Scientology like a chainsaw is into wood. KoX understands the concept of reciprocity and realizes that many of our ethical sensibilities come from it. KoX might abide foolishness for a time, but will not abide continuing and remorseless abuse. KoX might decide to piss on you if you continually piss on others with impunity. But KoX would do this only with the hope that you will learn from the reciprocal nature of the degradation. In the end, KoX is a force for justice. So, now that you know more, what do you think of KoX? -- Michael Reuss Honorary Kid
