Place:    Canberra Church of Scientology, East Row, Canberra

Present: Louise (for brief time), Myself
Scientologists:
    Lara
    2 unknowns
    miscellaneous clams inside the org

It was such a beautiful clear winter's afternoon that I could not resist
picketing the CoS. Lara, the clam trained in the ways of the Office of
Special Affairs, insisted that I protest on any day but Sunday because
that's her time off. I was happy to oblige. Armed with my Sony Handycam and
an A2 laminated "Scientology Despises Free Speech" sign, I marched up and
down for no more than fifteen minutes before Lara emerged. In an
uncharacteristically (for her) nonconfront fashion, she told me not to talk
to any Scientologists because that would be construed as harassment. Erm,
the only Scientologist I've been talking to is you, Lara. Or do you mean the
clams I said "good morning" to the other Sunday? I promise not to spread any
SP germs in future.

I quickly clocked three Scientologists spying on me. The first was a man in
black trousers, black jumper, black tie and white shirt, holding a
clipboard. The others were young lads in blue jumpers (resembling school
uniform) who patrolled around the street, looking at me and talking into
concealed walkie-talkies.

And Scientology claims that they stand for total freedom. Wake up, clams!
Why does your org encourage you to patrol around like the Gestapo!! Is this
the sort of world you want. Remember me, when you're doing hard labour in
the RPF! Remember me!
