Roger--I came to ars after avoiding it for a long time, thinking it 
was a Co$ mouthpiece.  I kept seeing references to ars on the web, 
and finally started lurking.  Then took the plunge and started 
posting.

Motivations?  Mainly the hope that someone, somewhere, may read 
something here that leads them away from the criminal cult of 
$cientology, or helps them to avoid it in the first place.

If any words I write can help someone else avoid what I experienced 
in my time in the cult (and/or much worse...), I will have 
accomplished something good.

That's my motivation.
